Little bit of life

I love the stage that Madelynn and Katherine are in right now. I love every stage, but I am really loving this stage right now. Maddy is 2 1/2 and Kate is 9 months. Maddy is learning something new everyday. She loves to help me and right now loves to do her hand print with my ink pads (on paper, not walls thank goodness!) Kate is also learning and doing new things everyday. She has gained control over her balance and is not falling as much these days. I say that but she does have a bruise on each cheek right now. She can stand for about 3 seconds by herself and loves to walk holding my fingers. Kate is getting to be bigger than Maddy and will sometimes almost steam-roll her. Madelynn is tiny.

Kate has her first freckle. It is on top of her head and I am sure there are more to come.

So....I just started facebook because, well, mostly because my sisters convinced me to, but also because of one friend from my childhood that I have had a hard time keeping in contact with and she was facebook-friends with all of my sisters. Okay, I will try it. Well, now I have like 20 friends that I haven't been in contact with in over 10 years, WOW, this is really cool!! But I must say that my comfort zone is still blogging. I feel like there are many women out there like myself who live within their means raising kids and earnestly striving to do what is right on a tight budget!!!

I also love blogging because I feel like I can post this and others of you would think it is just as cool as I do.



It is called the 'wonder washer' and is something that I had never thought of adding to your emergency supplies. But personally I would like to have somewhat clean clothes without having to go scrub them on a rock in the river if we didn't have electricity for an extended amount of time.

Disclaimer: I am the Enrichment Counselor in Relief Society and our Emergency Preparedness Group is my baby and one of our more successful groups in our ward. So I might get a little more excited than needed, but what can I say?? I am weird that way I guess =) and I just like to share my finds with everyone else!!!
