Test Results!
The culture came back as staph infection. I am dumbfounded. I don't know much about staph except that it can be horrible and it is usually found in the hospital. How on earth did Madelynn get a staph infection and what does this mean??? I am so greatful for Brother Long who encouraged us to take Madelynn into the urgent care as quickly as we did and that we were able to get her on antibiotics so quickly.

I don't know much about how you get it, but I know that absests are a common way it exhibits itself. I was given antibiotics and as far as I know all is well ;) Poor little girl. How does her finger look now?
