Mammoth Vacation 2008

We made it home safe and sound from our 5th Annual vacation to Mammoth, CA. We go every year with the Pollock Family. This year we got to be there with Auntie Liz, Kennedy, MacKenzie and Grayson; Uncle Jordan and Auntie Hiedi, Auntie Katelyn and Auntie Manda; Grandma (Mima) and Grandpa; and of course the herd of mini-schnauzers Lucy, Moose, Lilly and Bella.

The first day, Friday, Daddy took all the girls on a walk while some of the adults went on a hike to Rainbow Falls. Then we had dinner with the camp hosts and friends and Auntie Liz and kids went home.

The second day we went to watch Uncle Jordan race in his first Tri-Athalon. He finished 6th place for men!! After that we went to lunch and up to the lakes where we took lots of pictures and Auntie Heidi and Uncle Jordan rented row-boats for us to have fun in. Katherine stayed behind with Grandma and Grandpa. That night Auntie Heidi introduced Madelynn to smores by the campfire, they were super yummy!!!

The third day we went to church then we headed out to Bodee, CA for some cool picture taking. Bodee is not the funnest place to be, it is lots of old buildings and that is about it. However, it is a photographers haven. It might not be much to look at on the surface, but once you start looking around, there is LOTS of art and beauty in the old buildings. Jacob got lots of good picutes, that is a post in itself.

Monday, the last day of our trip, was spent back at camp. We hiked down to Devils Post Pile and took lots of pictures there too. Then we packed up and had yummy RIBS for dinner, sooo good!!

All in all, it was a wonderful trip!!
