A Bit of Trivia

This past weekend we were in Ojai for my Grandfather's birthday party and I took some pictures of items he has had in his house for as long as I have been alive, and I am sure longer. Anyway, I thought it would be fun to see if anyone knew where the original of this painting is located. If you have seen the picture in Grandpa's house then you are not allowed to answer.

Here is another bit of trivia. Can anyone guess what the design is of on this cake??
