Finally FIVE months later the hummingbirds came and so did a nest with two little eggs on the side of our house. So much FUN!!

Merry Christmas.....
This past Christmas Jacob and I thought it would be so fun to get a hummingbird feeder. It was something cheap that Madelynn could open and she would LOVE to see the birds come to feed from it. So we filled it up and put it out and waited, and waited, and waited until the nectar started to MOLD!!! Yes, no birds were feeding from our feeder, it was very sad!! But we kept filling it up hoping that they just needed to discover that it was there.
